First comic you remember reading: Back in the 70’s Heavy Metal Magazine, that my father bought and I would sneak peaks. KISS comics too, also collected KISS trading cards…still to this day remember the smell of them, like gasoline…I love the smell of gasoline.

Creators who have inspired you: From when I was a child(again the 70’s) I was introduced to Frank Frazetta, artists of Heavy Metal Magazine(Richard Corbin stands out) and a little later Bernie Wrightson.

Dream Project: Frazetta’s Death Dealer, the whole Frazetta Comics line was a big deal for me. As stated above, drooling over Frazetta art books as a child I would never of imagined I would be working/creating along side him. ‘68 is a big deal too, as co-creator we have complete control over everything and we do whatever we want, it’s very gratifying having your own property built from the ground up.

Current Project: Right now, ‘68 RULE OF WAR series, Wraith and Vwars. Also working with Dave Sim on something that will be announced sometime soon.

Favorite Art Tools: Photoshop, being in the fast pace comic book business this is a must. More recently I’ve been getting “back to my roots” with pen and ink, I like getting my hands dirty.

Anything special for ACME/Free Comic Book Day: Yes! FCBD Vwars #0…FREE! Issue #1 also hits that same day too. I’ll have a few other items with me, but prefer fans purchase items from the retailer…we need to support our local retailers.

Where can people find you and your work online: In the process of building a new jayfotos.com, but for now I steer everyone to www.68zombie.com
